Head - Sales - Manufacturing (12-15 yrs)
Role - Sales Head
Job Overview - The Sales Head is a key leadership role that is responsible for building and managing the Company's revenue and leading a team of sales professionals to successfully deliver on their respective sales goals. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales peers and organization, Marketing, Business Development and Products teams to develop and implement specific strategic plans to achieve or exceed revenue targets throughout the designated territory /Industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Managing sales teams of 6 sales ninjas and leading sales operations.
- Helping sales engineers develop, nurture and close sales.
- Target and grow business within existing accounts by mapping stakeholders and key decision makers in the business, and pitching in for various services.
- (Strategizing effective sales plans and meeting sales targets, thereby also contributing to team targets)
- Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
- Collaborate with Presales / Sales team in responding to any bid documents, writing or reviewing proposals, reports and supporting literature.
- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services that will lead to an increase in sales
- Understanding customers' diverse and specific business needs and applying services/product knowledge to meet those needs.
- Conceptualizing and designing Pan India sales campaigns / webinars / seminars, to create awareness and interests, thereby generating leads for reference sales.
- Providing Business development leadership within your regime of responsibility to ensure business in accordance with company policy that will maximize the company's income potential and profitability.
- Hands on style with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field. (Master's degree in a business-related field can be a substitute)
- Minimum of 7 years- experience in a Sales leadership position.
- Minimum of 4 years- experience working in a selling role and with sales technology and CRM software with excellent Track record in Revenue Generation.
- Minimum of 2 years- experience in a senior (C-level) leadership role may be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
- Reviewing customer activity, anticipating customer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
Total Experience - 13 to 15 yrs.
Work Location - MIDC, Andheri- East
Salary - As per Industry Standards.
