JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Opening new dealers and distributors in the assigned territory.
- Sales Planning & Demand forecasting from the appointed direct dealers and distributors.
- Ensure timely collection of money from Trade partners as per agreed terms
- Reviewing job contributions of Area Sales Managers in the assigned territory.
- Provides inputs on sales performance, manpower requirements, market competition and oversees marketing budget, Channel partner commission, sales projection etc.
- Recommending product enhancements; surveying consumer needs and trends; Tracking competitors.
- Market mapping for the all market in the assigned territory.
- Planning activities and engagement program for maintaining and improving relationships with channel partners (Dealers, Distributors and Key Accounts).
- Responsible for making the territory profitable as per company plan.
- Manage OEM and institutional sales engagements to design strategies to acquire more business deals.
- Adhere, educate, and implement Company's Sales return policy to the team and the trade partners.
- Monitoring channel sales and market activities and evaluating their performances.
- Assigns sales targets to team and ensures delivery of these targets
- Provides BD team with inputs on product pricing, sales velocity projection, competition benchmarking and GTM plan.
- Creates and recommends a sales strategy for achievement of assigned sales targets e.g. launch plan for new project.
- Tracks the Sales Inventory.
- Interacts with customers for sales closure and final negotiations, wherever and whenever needed.
- Monitors marketing budget to ensure activities are within budget and ensures Cost of Sales are within Company guidelines.
- Evaluates and recommends marketing plan for local marketing campaigns e.g print ad/ outdoor displays/ participation in property exhibitions, road shows / online marketing etc. Coordinate with HO Marketing Department.
- Gives inputs on marketing campaign/activity needs to HO.
- Monitors the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns.
- Initiating market research and collect and analyze market / Competitor's data and trend.
- Formulating and implementing innovating selling strategies as per the prevailing market trends.
- Supervise and provide training to all sales personnel to achieve the fixed sales performance as per the sales Scorecard.
- To operate based on the gross margin improvement plan, and ensure the topline and bottom-line growth.
- Giving Support for NPD.
- Addresses escalated customer related issues - complains, queries.
- Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement.
- Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity.
- Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area.
- Complies with company defined guidelines and processes.
