Job Description :
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
- Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department
- Ensure timely collection of the credit sales and adhere to the credit policy of the company.
- Coordinate with sales team to plan promotional activities, trade shows and special events.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and report variances against actual.
- Prepare sales contracts, proposals and reports for management and customers.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients- needs
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
- Responsible for the P&L & inventory
- Hire, train and guide new candidates in their job responsibilities.
- Communicate with vendor / brand owner
Requirement for the Role :
- Proven work experience as a National sales manager. African market experience is a must
- Experience in selling consumer IT products and channel sales is preferred but not must.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed
