Head - Sales - IT (15-22 yrs)
Head of Sales (equivalent to AVP/VP) Software and IT services outsourcing market worldwide @ Trivandrum, India
Our client since 2000, has been delivering full cycle software development services to customers worldwide. Founded by a group of IT experts with several years of Big 5 consulting experience, they are presently has offices in USA, India, Japan.
They need to fill the Head of Sales positions asap.
Position : Head of Sales- selling IT Services, preferable in Applications and products
Location :Trivandrum
Note - The candidate will be initially based out of our office in India but will need to frequently travel and support our sales team in USA and Japan. Relocation to USA is a possibility/requirement.
Experience : 15+ years of experience in selling IT Services, preferable in Applications and products
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
- Lead a team of sales professionals.
- Direct staffing, training and performance evaluation of the sales team.
- Monitor activities and achieve the revenue targets of the sales team spread across multiple geographies.
- Be personally responsible for hunting key accounts to drive revenue.
- Build global sales pipeline, forecasting, planning and budgeting process.
- Identify and develop potential alliance partnerships and seek out new market and growth areas.
- Anchor and nurture long-term relationships with decision making CxO level executives.
Experience Required / Profile:
- Strong understanding of Software and IT services outsourcing market worldwide, with 15+ years of experience in selling IT Services, preferable in Applications and products as opposed to people placement.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth through high performing teams.
- Ability to conduct industry and customer analysis: identifying pain points.
- Self-driven, high on energy and drive, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to guide others through complexity, ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to meaningfully engage with C-Suite.
- Able to become productive in a short time.
- Acclimated to US culture.
- Strong Existing Industry relationships.
- An achievement driven approach with a track record of results. Can act with initiative and has a no excuses mind-set.
- Strong integrity, transparency and dependability.
