Head - Sales - Investment/Trading Product (8-12 yrs)
We are seeking experienced professionals for the role of Head of IFA Channel, specifically with a background in Asset Management Companies (AMC). This position will focus on driving growth and managing Independent Financial Advisors (IFA) across either the Mumbai or Tamil Nadu region. The successful candidate will lead a team, forge strong relationships with key IFAs, develop sales strategies, and implement initiatives to increase market penetration and achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead and oversee the IFA Channel in the assigned region (Mumbai or Tamil Nadu) with a focus on developing and executing a growth-oriented strategy.
- Align with AMC's business objectives to optimize product distribution and sales through IFAs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive business targets for the IFA channel, ensuring revenue and AUM growth.
- Develop a sales plan to expand the IFA network, engage with high-performing IFAs, and establish strong partnerships.
- Identify and onboard new IFAs, ensuring the channel's growth aligns with company goals.
Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales and relationship managers dedicated to the IFA channel.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to ensure high productivity and performance standards.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key IFAs and support them in delivering financial solutions to end customers.
- Conduct regular training sessions and product presentations for IFAs to enhance their knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Resolve IFA issues promptly and ensure seamless support for improved satisfaction and retention.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards in all activities.
- Generate and review periodic reports to track progress against targets and present insights to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the AMC industry, with a strong background in handling the IFA channel.
- Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with IFAs.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience managing teams.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products, financial advisory, and AMC market dynamics.
- Ability to analyze data, spot trends, and adjust strategies to achieve business objectives.
