JOB TITLE HEAD - SALES IFS ( INDIA )
Location : DELHI, INDIA ( Anywhere During WFH)
1. Brief Description:
This position will be responsible for managing sales in the IFS LoB.
Head IFS Sales is tasked with the following primary missions:
(1) Drive sales of IFS product in accordance with margin guidelines issued by the Company
(2) Become the key contact person for the customer- the face of the company- in front of the customer on a daily basis
(3) Build a sales team in India focused on acquiring new customers and meeting the requirements of existing customers
(4) Utilize the presence of company across LoBs (including India Linx ) to create and sell solutions that span LoBs with IFS as one component
(5) Utilize the company Regional, Asia and larger global network to create and sell solutions to IFS customers
(6) Create innovative products to drive sales
2. Key Result Areas:
- CM and total of contracts under his/her supervision vs. the agreed budget and guidelines
- CM of total and new business to be as per indicated multiples of compensation
- Customer satisfaction measurements, measured/surveyed on a semi-annual basis
- AR s to be maintained within guidelines
3. Key Accountabilities/Duties:
Managing sales:
- Use of - Sales Force- package for driving the sales process
- Collaborate with customer support; operations and Global Product team to support existing customers and convert new opportunities
- Collaborate with Finance to track profitability of accounts; manage credit worthiness reports on customers and manage accounts receivables
- Collaborate with HR to set up and manage sales team
- Develop clear SOP with the customers, identifying target KPIs, managing expectation of customers
Accountable in supporting business development activities:
- Participate when required in business development efforts in other LoBs when IFS customer contacts are required to be tapped
9. Incumbent specification
Education - Graduate. MBA preferred.
Experiences - At least 15 years in shipping and logistics related logistics industry
- Knowledge of all nuances of ocean forwarding
- Experience in setting up operations from scratch
Skill Sets :
- Able to understand customer's organization, their stakeholders and their requirements
- Able to communicate well with customers, over delivering while managing expectations
- People management + leadership skill, motivates and direct resources, within the organization and external to the organization
- Resourcefulness to get things done, including identifying stop gaps to solve crisis/challenges
- Strong grasp of financial reporting
