Head - Holidays (Contracting, Product, Operations and Sales)

Location: Mumbai (Onsite)

We are looking for a business head who will own the Holidays P&L and will be responsible for scaling up the holidays business in the B2C and B2B markets in India

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to get things done and is passionate about building a team and delivering value.

Role

- Manage, mentor and grow the existing team to grow the holidays business

- Own and drive the sales funnel to meet sales and revenue targets

- Define and execute strategy for vendor sourcing and contracting for holidays business

- Liaise with suppliers for on a regular basis to build a strong network which translates into product and pricing benefits for the company

- Negotiate contracts and derive the commercial value for the company

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand areas of growth and opportunity

- Design and build competitive products across different geographies

- Define and monitor processes for sales, post sales and vendor payments

- Work with marketing teams for promotions and driving leads from B2C and B2B channels

- Manage daily, weekly and monthly reporting

- Ensure department profitability and work with management on growth strategies

Candidate:

- 10+ years of relevant experience within the industry

- Proven experience of having grown the holidays department with direct involvement in hiring and managing product, operations and sales

- Must have existing relationships in the market with vendors with direct involvement in vendor selection and contract negotiation

- Must have experience of managing teams in operations and sales and delivering high sales volume

- Excellent negotiation, communication and people handling skills

- Experience of online business will be an added advantage
