Job Description :
- Develop sales plans to support the strategic business plan
- Develop sales objectives with sales managers and provide counseling, guidance and support to drive product sales
- Direct the continuing appraisal of pricing and distribution policies and procedures
- Direct and appraise the results of authorized sales programs against planned objectives
- Recommend go to market strategies which incorporate market research, competitive analysis, market opportunity assessment and pricing strategies and support the strategic business plan
- Assure that the Customer Service team is aligned with the sales strategy and is exceeding customer needs by serving as a mentor and coach to the manager of Customer Service Maintain existing, and develop new, relationships with key customers and industry leaders
- Develop and manage the sales budget
- Ensure that the company is a great business partner
- Understands Pharma regulatory law and considered this in the sales process
- Can design and implement pricing models
- Leads the most important contract negotiations themselves
- Knows the meaning of customer development plans and leads with this sales organization
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
- Exceed costumer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Hire and develop sales staff
- Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
- Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
- Designs, implements and manages detailed and accurate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes
- Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in lining, forecasting and budgeting approached used by the sales organization
- Ensures planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes
- Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement
- Makes recommendations for changing sales role, coverage models or team configurations in order to maximize sales productivity
- Leads a change management process to build organizational understanding of proposed changes, establish support from key leadership stakeholders and effectively implement new development and job models
- Anticipates and reacts quickly to trends and changes in the sales team performance
- Lead complex sales negotiations, attends sales presentations and close sales deals
- Continuously motivate the sales team and inspire them to stay focused on company's goals
