Our client is a Young Company, and Supplier of "freshly prepared ingredients" and "ready to finish" products to hotels, institutions & QSR across the Mumbai city.
Qualification: Must be an MBA
Experience: 12-18 yrs of experience in the Food Industry
- Exposure to B2B and B2C (Modern Trade) Sales
Location: Kalina and would require travel across India

Job Description ;
- To set and meet the objectives, sales target, and budgeted revenue.
- To develop and maintain a relationship with key and potential accounts.
- To draw up the business sales and marketing related activities and strategic planning.
- To ensure that all client requests and servicing are attended to and fulfilled by all sales personnel and administrative staff.
- To identify the market's need and develop the product accordingly.
- To draw up the marketing plan annually together with the Reporting Head based on the business goals and products
- To monitor and supervise the gathering of marketing statistics, current market trends and implement strategies according to statistical analysis.
- To monitor business leads to ensure the budget is met.
- To monitor the sales team production and activities through daily, weekly and monthly reports. To ensure that the sales team meet the client's requirement and the service offered to them corresponds effectively to their requests.
- To comprise monthly MIS report, sales and marketing highlight summary of all segmentations, sales activities competitor analysis, and market share analysis.
- To review and conclude all sales results compared to budget and the previous year
- To visit VIP top accounts to establish a closer relationship with them. To identify business potential and upkeep close contact with former and potential clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondences in view of contract signing with them.
- To analyze statistics and implement strategies to achieve the set goals and objectives in the marketing plan.
- To recommend the solutions and strategies to further improve sales performance.
- To acquire extensive product knowledge, its strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as against key competitors.
- To monitor and analyze the key competitors regarding prices, services, and facilities offered on a regular basis.
- To organize and attend trade shows or undertake sales trips.
- To maintain key accounts and develop new business opportunities for the business through active supervision and sales coverage with designated sales personnel.
- To recruit, train and appraise the sales staff, ensuring a level of manpower and competence of staff are sufficient to achieve set goals and objectives.
- To set the individual sales target collectively and ensure that the monthly report is prepared and reported, with reference to the target set.
- To supervise all sales personnel regarding a marketing plan and activities according to schedule, set budget and its anticipated results.
- To ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are provided to staff in order to function efficiently.
- To conduct a weekly and monthly meeting with the sales team and related departments for job follow up and information dissemination purposes.
- To create a good working atmosphere and efficient cooperation in the Sales & Marketing department.
- To maintain good working relations with all departments and all external contacts.
- To coordinate functions and activities with other departments professionally.
