Job Description :
Reporting to the General Manager
Key responsibilities :
- Responsible for all sales worldwide including company manufactured products as well as outsourced.
- To review, monitor and control sales plan and budget which have been set for individual managers to ensure achievement of annual sales objectives.
- To meet key distributors to understand market trends, competitors activities and continuously search for new opportunities to improve sales. This includes ideas for new product either manufactured by the company or outsourced.
- To review all sales administration procedures and ensure proper implementation. To support the sales managers and the teams in achieving sales target.
- Liaison with marketing department to ensure proper and adequate marketing support as well as to jointly develop new product ideas and innovative promotions.
- Development of sales management organization structure by ensuring adequate training. Provide leadership so that the sales team is well motivated and contributes effectively.
Desired skills and experience :
Essential :
- Indian male
- Age : 40-45 years
- Currently heading the sales function of a midsized company
- 15-20 years experience in FMCG
- Should be an MBA from a good (at least second rung) management institute
- Should be able to speak Hindi
- 5 years experience in atleast 3 GCC countries
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Arabic and/or any south Indian languages
Education :
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization
