Head - Sales - Electrical/Electronics Product (3-5 yrs)
The Sales Head will be responsible for leading and driving the sales team to achieve business growth and revenue targets for the company. This includes overseeing the development and execution of sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring that the company maintains strong customer relationships within the construction and electrical works sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and expand the company's market presence in the construction and electrical sectors.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities and improve sales performance.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance management to team members to enhance their sales capabilities.
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team, ensuring they are achieved within agreed timeframes.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including contractors, developers, and electrical firms.
- Oversee the negotiation and closure of contracts with new and existing clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and maintain long-term partnerships.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and electrical works industry.
- Establish new sales channels, partnerships, and collaborations to increase revenue generation.
- Drive the acquisition of large-scale projects and high-value contracts.
Market & Product Knowledge:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, technological developments, and changes in construction and electrical works.
- Ensure that the sales team is knowledgeable about the company's products and services and can effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Monitor and report on sales performance, sales pipeline, and customer feedback.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and progress reports for senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and ensure that sales targets are being met.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the marketing, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of projects.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demand.
