Position Title : Head- Sales Development

Experience: 12-14 post MBA

The Main Purpose of the Role is to create a Future-ready Distribution Set-up for Company
The key Responsibilities are :
- To build a robust, viable GTM (Go-to-Market) system by leveraging the emerging trends in the FMCG Ecosystem
- To build a best-in-class Urban Distribution Network with respect to both quality & quantity of coverage
- To build a best-in-class Rural & Small Town Distribution Network with respect to both quality & quantity of coverage
- To drive best - in-class Distribution Processes to leverage the true potential of the S&D Infrastructure
- To enhance our Distribution Outlet reach in both Urban & Rural
- Lead the deployment of specific GTM interventions with respect to specific Channels - Stationery, Toys, Kirana, etc.. .
- Drive greater productivity in the GTM system through Route Re-engineering, Route capacity Enhancement, Differential Service Frequency Models, etc.. leading to improved execution
- Evaluate & build new foot-print opportunities / avenues for driving both the width & depth agenda
- To help leverage DMS (Distribution Management System) & SFA (Sales Force Automation) to drive better distribution of each of the core categories (Batteries, Flashlights, Lighting & Tea)
- To identify viable models of GTM to serve the BOP Villages (- 3k population villages)
- To own the entire Sales Manpower Planning & Deployment
- To Design & Manage the Sales force Incentive Program for the entire Salesteam.
- To Design & Manage the Distributor Channel Partner Engagement Program
- Design & Implement specific Activation strategies & Trade promotions, partnering with the various SBUs & Regions.
- Build execution templates for all targeted Routes across select channels.
- The Head-Sales development would lead all Go-To-Market initiatives; & be responsible for establishing sales processes, systems, & quality Channel Infrastructure to capitalize on the opportunity that exists for current & new categories for Company.
- This is a Change-Management Role & The Head- Sales Development through his/he efforts will ensure the building of a robust, healthy & sustainable distribution network in both Urban and Rural India for Company's brands.
