Job Overview:
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets across both the Indian and international markets. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong track record in sales, excellent networking capabilities, and the ability to manage and deliver on P&L responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in both the Indian and international markets.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis.
2. Revenue Generation and Target Achievement:
- Take full ownership of revenue targets for India and key international markets, including the USA, UK, and Germany.
- Lead sales efforts from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that revenue goals are met or exceeded.
- Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, making adjustments to strategies as needed to ensure targets are achieved.
3. Domestic and International Market Leadership:
- Drive sales initiatives within the Indian market, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Lead sales efforts in international markets, focusing on expanding RLE INDIA's footprint in targeted regions.
- Utilize strong networking skills and industry connections to develop and nurture client relationships.
4. Leadership and P&L Management:
- Oversee the P&L for the sales function, managing budgets, and ensuring profitable growth.
- Lead and mentor the sales & pre-sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and the delivery of high-quality services.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Address customer needs and resolve issues promptly and effectively, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Drive customer retention and growth through proactive engagement and the delivery of value-added solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role within the automotive or engineering services industry.
- Proven track record of managing sales and achieving targets in both domestic and international markets.
- Extensive experience in international sales, specifically in the USA, UK, and Germany.
- Strong networking skills and established connections within the Indian market.
- Experience in a P&L role with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of automotive engineering services and related technologies.
- Experience working with international clients and understanding global market dynamics.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
