Head - Sales - Automotive (5-8 yrs)
1) Responsible for all Automotive sales and acquisition activities in India these would include identify key target players in Automotive market.
2) Generate leads and projects
3) Proactive marketing of products and services to all potential companies in the target segment - Automotives ;
4) Work closely with technical team in headquarters on customers- request for prototype
5) Work closely with production team in headquarters on capacity planning, delivery schedule and technical issue
6) Follow up and report regularly on the progress of all potential projects with clients;
7) Build close working relationship with potential customers- management personnel, to maximize account share;
8) Participate in relevant trade fairs and exhibition to build the company's image and market awareness in India
9) Monitor and provide feedback on competitors- moments to the management.
Skills and Expertise:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Economics related university degree;
- Possesses technical knowledge, ability to guide and advice the customers on product application;
- Project management experience, experienced in managing projects with long sales cycle in Automotive industry ;
- Knowledge of AVI, connected car, new mobility, technical sales for customized products, and optical, opto-electronic or semi- conductor know how will be beneficial for this role:
- 5- Years- experience in selling products to Auto OEMs and TIER1 / TIER2 will be highly preferred. An established contacts and network within the target automotive market is an advantage. Previous experience in establishing sales teams and people development.
- Proven record of accomplishment in managing the whole life cycle if project sales in the India Automotive business.
- Familiar with German culture and working mind-set will be a plus;
- Available for frequent travelling in India based on business requirements.
