Head - Presales (18-25 yrs)
Responsibilities
The Presales Head will work with the sales and delivery teams, services and solutions to existing and prospective clients. The Presales manager is responsible for supporting the Vertical Sales team in identifying opportunities and closing small to medium sized deals.
1. Project manages the entire bid process by preparing and deploying the bid plan
2. Identifies the teams / experts to be reached out to for contributing to the bid
3. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders for getting inputs as per plan
4. Reviews progress as per the bid plan and takes corrective actions
5. Integrates / assembles the response as per inputs received and ensures that response gets submitted as per timeline.
6. Translate a strong understanding of the customer context into defining and building a strong, winning proposition that address the pain-points
7. Put together winning solutions in response to RFPs, working closely with delivery owners for delivery imperatives and cost inputs and sales / account owners for client imperatives and support closure of business worth $XX mn per year
8. Demonstrate a strong ability to position service offerings in the context of the customers industry and the customers own performance
9. Create impactful presentations, backed by market intelligence, to support the sales / business directors on specific pursuits
10. Manage solution approach discussions and demonstrations at customer visits by bringing together all the capabilities and functions to showcase global capabilities
11. Actively participate and contribute to account mining / cross-sell activities and follow them up by pitching relevant capabilities to help create new opportunities
12. Create and maintain an effective knowledge management system to support all the phases of the opportunity lifecycle. Additionally update the sales team on the new solution offerings
13. Create collaterals and case studies based on offerings and work delivered by demonstrating the ability to address customers specific business needs
14. Contribute to development of white papers / thought papers on emerging areas
The individual must possess :
1. Prior presales and / or Solutioning experience or significant experience in delivering customer engagements in a particular industry context
2. Experience of engaging with business and IT functions in customer organizations and a strong appreciation of their business reality and strategic needs
3. A deep functional understanding of at least one industry and / or a major technology area
4. Understanding of opportunity management lifecycle, IT development lifecycle and various methodologies
5. Interfacing with multiple internal teams to cover each facet of the solution beyond just the technical component
6. Ability to work in dynamic situations, short timelines and with strict deadlines
7. Strong written and oral communication skills
