Head - Partnerships & Alliances - Bank (4-10 yrs)
About the Role :
As a Partnership Head for MSME segment, you will be supporting in onboarding and driving business through partnerships through marketing of bank's APIs in areas of deposit, lending, payments, etc to partners or through direct assignment or co-lending or referral service based arrangements. The objective of MSME partnerships is to enhance Bank's customer value proposition for MSME clients and to to generate new business through alternate / partnership led business models. An important part of the Digital Banking team, this individual will help in forging and executing alliances as well as in managing the partner portfolios and driving desired P&L and business outcomes .
Job Responsibilities :
Drive acquisition and management of alliance partners:
1. Drive key partnerships with Fintechs in the MSME segment for products such as current accounts, business loans, fixed deposits, business cards, etc.
2. Partnerships can be in the areas of designing and co-creating new products & propositions for specific segments / co-lending / distributing bank's products to partner's clients / distributing partner's complementing products to bank's clients.
3. Review the market landscape and identify partners of relevance/scale, review the business model of partners & identify synergies, and create and put up a business case for review by a committee of product, risk, technology, and compliance.
4. Work closely with Digital Solution Delivery Group and Digital Product teams to stitch the end-to-end process and technology flow for the partner.
5. Work closely with the risk analytics team in case of lending partnerships to define portfolio triggers
6. Responsible for managing the partnership and accountable for the delivery of business from the partner
7. Ensure compliance and governance framework is adhered to in managing partnerships (understand and ensure adherence to data security, privacy, encryption, storage norms, adherence to fair practice code, master direction on KYC and outsourcing guidelines, and any other relevant compliance guardrails relevant to the business model)
Partnership Portfolio Management:
1. Drive digital business, transactions, and engagement metrics across partners
Portfolio movement: Track, measure, and improve key metrics (e.g., bookings, adoption, activation, etc.) and business metrics (e.g., cross-sell, up-sell, spends, revenue, and fee income)
2. Analyze user behavior and key business problems to identify new opportunities in liaison with product and analytics teams
3. Performance Management: Ensure timely internal and external reporting on the portfolio movement on a pre-defined cadence
