Head - Merchant Acquisition Business : Chennai : Electronics / IT / Service Industries

Objective:- Lead, Direct & own Merchant Acquisition Business (MAB) by following Strategical approach, creating business Model and by channelizing the sales effort leading to the effective capture of the Market Share.

Deliverables -

- Leading Business Development and Revenue generation with P&L ownership.

- Chart clear revenue, sales and collection projection and device strategies for the various products of the company related to Digital Payment

- Take complete ownership of Merchant Acquiring Business- Always on a lookout for Increasing the Profit Margin.

- Prepare/be responsible for the business plan, go-to-market strategies including partner strategy in local markets, regions.

- Overseeing complete solution budgeting of every engagement with customers to the full satisfaction of customer acceptance.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic:

- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures for MAB.

- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.

- Highly Techno-savvy and a vision to envisage scalability through latest Technology platforms. 


Operations.

- Responsible for driving B2B acquisition strategy and managing B2B merchant partnership

- Achieve/Exceed the sales and revenue target FY through planned efforts.

- Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics teams to optimize the revenue generation opportunity and demonstrate strong ROI.

- Advise the management team on key planning issues, produce a sales budget that is acceptable to the management and ensures adherence to the same.

- Be responsible for revising/ updating the sales model in collaboration with regional Business heads.

- Managing, controlling, coaching and evaluating the staff, in order to give the necessary support and to guide the employee towards optimum performance.

- Account Management

- Prospection Identifying and actively searching for new prospects, analyzing sales potential and work out sales activities.

- Making prospecting a part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects are added to the pipeline on a consistent basis, by collaborating with Business Heads.

- Making Proposals, forecast, contracts, market forecasting on regular basis (and quarterly review towards the executive team) and Qualify business opportunities thoroughly and manage the pipeline.

- Together with the product management/ Business Heads, need to work out business cases (projections of income).

- Detect and analyze information regarding company's customers and its market.

- Managing Commercial & contractual negotiations

Experience Required:

- Experience in the Payment Solution Industry either in POS, Mobile wallets or related area in which at least 5 years should be payments domain in a fast-growing organization.

- Working background in large banks or Schemes in payments domain would be desirable.

- Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing cross-functional teams

- Planning, budgeting, Analytical and cost

Education:- B.E / B.Tech / MBA/ PGDM from Tier I/ Tier II B Schools.
