Head - Marketing - Tourism (8-10 yrs)
Job Overview :
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of the entertainment and tourism industries.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Planning :
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the theme park's business objectives and target audiences.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
2. Branding and Positioning :
- Oversee the creation and management of the theme park's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Develop and execute branding campaigns to strengthen the park's market position and enhance public perception.
3. Marketing Campaigns :
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital, social media, print, and outdoor advertising.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.
4. Digital Marketing :
- Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media strategy.
- Manage the theme park's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.
5. Partnership and Promotion :
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and media outlets to expand reach and enhance marketing efforts.
- Plan and execute promotional events, sponsorships, and collaborations to boost visibility and attract new visitors.
6. Team Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
7. Budget Management :
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Monitor expenditures and ROI to ensure marketing investments deliver desired results.
8. Guest Experience :
- Work closely with operations and guest services teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Gather and analyze guest feedback to inform marketing strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
1. Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
2. Experience :
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the theme park, entertainment, or tourism industry.
3. Skills :
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
