Head - Marketing - Sanitaryware (15-20 yrs)
Head Marketing (GM):
- This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for a Mumbai-based top Marble manufacturer, importer, and seller with domestic and international sales operations with a strong growth outlook.
- The ideal candidate is an emerging leader with a successful track record in building & implementation of marketing strategy, programs, and teams, knows how to build scalable processes, is highly customer-focused, has a passion for technology, and understands the intricacies of digital marketing. You will also be responsible for marketing collateral that can be deployed electronically together with physical assets as required by the sales teams. A critical part of the role is the analysis of sales performance and opportunities identified and schemes developed and implemented to improve sales performance.
Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
Responsibilities :
- Brand and communications : Build and evolve the brand through strategic positioning, narrative design, visual identity, and brand awareness. Own brand activity across agencies, PR, channel marketing, communications, and strategic partnerships. Guide development of advertising collateral, from campaigns to physical assets such as brochures and support material to support sales initiatives agreed by the senior team.
- Growth leader : Lead and direct cohesive GTM plans for multiple product lines. Align with Sales to focus on pipeline generation, delivering the right message at the right time for our target audiences. Oversee planning and execution of customer acquisition, conversion, and retention efforts, across all lead generation channels (physical & virtual).
- Marketing insights : Define buyer personas, build competitive intelligence, and develop plans for tactical execution, positioning, and differentiation. Evaluate and provide insights on end-to-end customer experience, customer feedback across multiple channels, and customer touchpoints. Launch Customer Perception Surveys and take appropriate actions to strengthen the Brand.
- Strategic Planning : Prioritize marketing programs and GTM across geographies and service lines, collaborating closely with Sales and Directors. Tracking efficiencies and increasing ROI of the marketing spend across channels including all kinds of virtual (e.g. google campaigns) and Ad networks. Formulating marketing strategies in order to increase brand visibility through marketing events (e.g. dealer meets) and improve the online brand positioning of the business. Setting and managing the marketing budget.
- Change catalyst : Reinforce company values and identity through innovative campaigns.
- Build Team, shape marketing organization: Audit internal and external resources. Identify and fill functional gaps, develop training and on-boarding programs to scale the marketing function.
Role Requirements :
- MBA (Marketing) with around 15 -18 years of marketing experience ideally in a Sales led manufacturing company
- B2B & B2C exposure
- Preferable sales experience
- International outlook
- Deep understanding of Digital and conventional platforms
- Leadership skills - strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, problem solving, self-starter
