- Head of Marketing

- Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position has overall responsibility for developing and execution of Marketing Strategy

Location : Delhi

Required Experience : 

- Minimum of 15 years experience in marketing including 3 -5 years experience in sales

- Must have exposure in digital marketing, E-commerce, consumer insights

- Marketing leader who has a ability and experience to strategize and develop marketing plans for India

- Must have team handling experience. Will handle a team of 2 ( Manager- Marketing and Manager- Digital Marketing)

Education : MBA in marketing from reputable school ( Graduation and PG should be Full time)

- Minimum 12 to 15 years of marketing and cross-functional experience, general management experience with leading consumer brands. This should include minimum of 2 to 3 years of sales experience.

- Product management

- Business commercials and marketing concepts

- Digital Marketing

- Usage of Business Analytics to help build Consumer insight and identify business opportunities

- Business Strategy

The objective of the Role :

- Building our brand equity and improving Clients' association with Technology and Premium positioning

- Interactive: Leveraging digital tools and technology to better engage consumers and strengthen Clients's linkage with customers

- Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally

- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget

- Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights.

Principal responsibilities : 

- Development of strategic marketing plan; strategize on brand plans; develop and monitor brand health; identify opportunities for new launches & coordinate with regional partners; approve and supervise all promotions within Clients guidelines with the objective of ensuring a profitable brand portfolio for Clients India.

- Annual Business Planning: Provide inputs & ratify marketing plans; influence sales planning; recommend modifications; jointly determine sales figures; refine "volume contribution numbers" in order to arrive at a robust Annual Operating Plan

- Marketing Planning: Analyze market & other industry issues; seek inputs from sales on the ground level situations, conduct profit impact analysis; strategize on brand plans; initiate & approve operational budgets; analyze & control variances; identify core issues; review reports; make contingency plans in order to ensure achievement of targets.

- Business Strategy : Plays a key role in developing a strategy for the growth of the brand as also its positioning. Should be well-versed to make presentations for a global audience

- Digital Marketing : Design and drive the company's digital strategy in conjunction with the overall marketing objectives for digital brand visibility, online sales channels, and social media campaigns.

- Consumer Insights & Segmentation: Leveraging relevant consumer learning from multiple sources (custom research, trends, social media listening, etc.) and sharing with the team. Translation of information into insights and recommendations that inspire the teams to act.

- E-Commerce: Set up the online channel, Own business targets from it and accordingly draft strategies, and execution plans, interlock with NSMs, run traffic, and lead generation initiatives, engage with various marketing agencies, monitor performance, and drive content marketing

- Product Launch & Promotion: Identify opportunities for new product launches, coordinate with Regional Product teams, determine costs, product development & marketing, and promotion plans; oversee legalities & commercials in deals; seek approval in order to ensure the effective launch of new brands.

- Operations: Direct & monitor implementation of approved marketing plans; provide inputs to related functions; benchmark best practices & provide perspective to team members; control variances in order to ensure smooth marketing operations.

- Management Reporting: Communicate regularly on marketing progress, business parameters and other market intelligence data with Sales Directors, management, and AP Region (Shanghai) in order to align local and regional practices and fulfill the information requirement of management and region.

- Team Development: Build a competent and performance-oriented marketing team
