Job Description
The Marketing Head will work closely with the CMO/Marketing Director to drive the growth of the company and establish it as a leading player in the cosmetics industry. Reporting to the Director of the Business, the Marketing Head will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to build brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand recognition and drive sales.
- Create and execute annual revenue plans and quarterly marketing plans to meet company goals.
Budget Management:
- Establish and oversee the marketing budget to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
Brand Development:
- Enhance and, if necessary, redefine brand positioning and messaging to resonate with target audiences.
- Manage brand activities across online and offline platforms.
Campaign Management:
- Design and implement advertising and promotional strategies across various media channels.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, making adjustments as needed for optimal results.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with product development, sales, e-commerce, and other departments to align marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with top-tier industry agencies to drive impactful results and measure outcomes effectively.
Market Research & Innovation:
Conduct research to understand customer preferences and market trends.
Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and technologies in the cosmetics industry.
Innovate to enhance brand positioning and customer experience.
Customer Insights & Technology:
Leverage technology to gain insights into consumer behavior in D2C and retail spaces.
Create effective customer acquisition and retention strategies to build brand loyalty.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM from a premier Tier-1 B-School.
Industry Experience:
10-12 years of experience in B2C marketing, with at least 2+ years in the beauty & cosmetics sector.
Required Skills:
Strategic Thinking : Proven ability to create and implement effective marketing strategies.
Analytical Expertise : Strong skills in measuring and analyzing marketing campaign performance.
Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the cosmetics industry, including trends, products, and competitors.
