Head - Marketing/Communications/Public Relations (10-20 yrs)

Principal Accountabilities :
Marketing, communications and public relations.
1. Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the Organizations image and position within the industry, an annual marketing programme for the existing and future shopping malls and overseeing the successful execution of these plans. This will entail:
2. Gaining insights on new trends within the market to ensure direct reach to the target customer
3. Evaluation of research data on spends within the shopping mall and driving strategies that help improve retail performance
4. Driving foot traffic, spends and loyalty for the malls
5. Develop short- and long-term budgets for the marketing/communications/ public relations program for the organization and malls and monitor progress.
6. Display proficiency in using analytics for growth of business.
7. Ensure using digital marketing as a tool.
8. Responsible for setting the design direction of all Organization and malls communication internally and externally.
9. Coordinate media communication for the Organization and malls.
10. Act as the Organizations representative with the media.
11. Ensure that the relevant market research is conducted and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.
12. Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications/public relations function.
Organizational Strategy :
1. Work with senior staff, other staff to develop the marketing team based on organizational functions, needs and budgets. Manage the buildout of the marketing team across different malls.
2. Help make sure that the Organizations philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.
3. Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel.
4. Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide the marketing team.
5. Ensure effective management within the marketing, communications and public relations function, with provision for succession.
6. Design, support and oversee cross-functional teams throughout the Organization.
