Head - Inside Sales - Hospitality Startup (3-6 yrs)
Our client is India's best budget hotels chain. Already at 125+ locations across 15+ cities, the company is on track to be India's largest chain of modern, tech-driven hotels that deliver a standardized, consistent & value-for-money hotel stays to travelers across India.
The company was born in a response to the need for reliable and value-for- money accommodation by travelers and now is being touted as a key player in the budget hospitality sector. It has received a whopping 8 million dollars in its first round of funding from some of the largest global venture capital firms.
The company is founded by entrepreneurs who are veterans in the world of start-ups and have previously been involved in establishing a leading online ecommerce brand which was recently acquired by a major Indian conglomerate. The founders are alumnus from the Wharton Business School and IIT (Guwahati), they have already left their competitor hotel chains behind this financial year and are on track to become the leading budget hotel chains in India.
As the Head - Inside Sales, you will be responsible for determining the optimal mix of business and managing distribution strategies on all channels to increase revenue and drive market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing P&L for a fast growing, large revenue channel
- Working closely with managers and team leads to drive and scale the Inside Sales function
- Managing monthly and quarterly revenue and margin targets
- Driving traffic, user engagement, quality and conversions for the channel
- Driving the offline channels and close liaising with the online team to ensure meeting of the targets
- Planning and launching incentive schemes, promotions and offers to drive sales growth
- Building sustainable demand channels from a long term perspective
- Leveraging market research to think creatively about segmenting, targeting and reaching potential customers
- Tracking and reporting on performance KPIs to optimise process and ROI
- Liaising with Marketing and Product Development functions to ensure brand consistency and increase sales
Candidate Profile:
- Engineering Graduate only from Tier 1 College preferred
- Demonstrable experience of 3-6 years in managing a category, P&L management, process optimization or process
consulting preferably
- Track record of leading a team to meet challenging targets
- Strong skills in ROI optimisation, advanced analytics etc.
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Organized, creative and critical thinker
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel/ VBA techniques
- Excellent Communication Skills
