Role Overview :
As the Head of Growth - D2C, you will take on a senior, sales-driven role with the critical responsibility of owning and driving all business numbers. This is a challenging opportunity for a strategic and dynamic leader to shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, optimize sales channels, and spearhead growth across multiple marketplaces. Your primary focus will be on maximizing sales performance while ensuring our brand's values of safety, development, and fun are upheld.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all channels.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Continuously monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet changing market conditions.
2. Go-To-Market Strategy :
- Lead the development and execution of GTM strategies for new product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and impactful brand messaging.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions.
3. Channel Optimization :
- Identify and optimize the most effective sales channels, including both online and offline avenues.
- Leverage data-driven insights to enhance performance and maximize reach and engagement.
4. Marketplace Management :
- Oversee and drive sales growth on marketplaces like Amazon, ensuring optimal product listings, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace partners to maximize visibility and sales.
5. Customer Acquisition and Retention :
- Develop and implement customer acquisition and referral programs aimed at achieving the right Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
- Focus on enhancing customer lifetime value through innovative retention strategies and loyalty programs.
6. Paid Advertising Leadership :
- Lead and manage paid advertising efforts across key channels such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and Google.
- Experiment with and scale other advertising channels to diversify and enhance our marketing mix.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier college; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in D2C growth marketing, with a strong emphasis on sales, preferably within the children's products or related industry.
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Expertise in managing customer acquisition and referral programs with a focus on optimizing ROAS and CAC.
- Significant experience in driving e-commerce sales growth on platforms like Amazon.
- Proficiency in paid advertising, including Meta, Google, and other relevant channels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for children's products and a deep understanding of parenting needs and trends.
