Head - Direct Sales - F&B Startup (7-10 yrs)

About the role :
- The basic job functions of the Direct Sales Manager is to proactively and systematically develop new direct business as a contributor while also to develop, manage, mentor the Direct Sales representative and contract representative team performance in Direct sales achievement
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop attach plans for key direct prospects and close direct customer business
- Submit quotes to customers and negotiate as necessary to secure contracts
- Track personal and report sales statistics and report on status of pending contracts for personal and team targets
- Develop and deploy plans to increase Direct sales group performance in coordination with the Director of Sales
- Work with Business Development representatives to bring in new business
- Work with Marketing Manager and Director to identify sales lead sources and investment for in a coordinated plan to improve results
- Deliver a written account plans and department plans as requested. Include a request for any support resources, including any marketing support, required to hit quota assigned. Following approvals, implement the business plan
- Be prepared to provide detail reporting detail to the Director of Sales on Monthly Revenue accounting, Forecast and Activity, both personal targets and sales team performance
- Provide write-ups "for approval of any "out of box" sales to hand-off with sales orders to Operations/Accounting for upfront visibility
- Promote a positive sales and service TEAM aspect at while acting in a professional manner
- You will be required to interact with cross functional teams and external vendors to build synergy on delivery of the product
