- He / she must be able to lead digital and social media marketing efforts on a leading B2B and B2C client. They must work with clients to understand their brand, business and marketing challenges and opportunities. Having vast experience in brand engagement, ideation, lead generation, content strategy, social media, campaign management in web, mobile & print, media and analytics across the industry.
- Ideal candidate is an experienced, visionary, results-focused strategist / consultant with a strong background in digital media, solid direct marketing and demand generation skills, and experience with B2B &B2C audiences
- He / she must be able to lead digital and social media marketing efforts on a leading B2B and B2C client. They must work with clients to understand their brand, business and marketing challenges and opportunities. Having vast experience in brand engagement, ideation, lead generation, content strategy, social media, campaign management in web, mobile & print, media and analytics across the industry.
- They must be able to create a vision and a practical plan for the role of digital in the client's business and both inspire and convince clients. They should have a global view of digital trends with an understanding of local issues, habits and sensitivities. Last but most importantly, this person must have a track record of delivering results and being valued by clients and client teams. They will work closely with the internal team to continuously improve the thinking, analysis and direction of the strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Translate the client's business and marketing goals into strategy
- Understand B2B global trends and local market realities and approaches to channel consumption, use and habits
- Research and present the B2B customer journey across all touchpoints and moments of truth
- Develop and present strategies and implement programs rooted in ROI and innovation
- Develop a 12-month roadmap for the client's business that builds upon tactical successes
- Create and package best practices, case studies, competitive analysis and trends for internal and client training and use
- Develop client brainstorming and prioritisation sessions
- Create opportunities for Thought Leadership and Innovation; Writing points-of-view and authoring white papers on various topics
- Consumer and industry research
- Digital performance analytics and ROI modelling
- Working with business director to review and improve digital work products
Desired background :
- An in-depth understanding of the digital marketplace and/or agency background with at least eight (8) years of experience in digital marketing, digital consulting, and/or management consulting.
- Experience leading planning or consulting engagements on B2B, B2C businesses
- Advanced degree, MBA, Marketing Communications or other related is desirable, but not necessary
Skills :
- Plan and execute research to develop insights and plan effective strategies that will grow the client's business; able to anticipate, identify and solve problems
- Create and deliver inspiring and persuasive presentations and proposals
- Able to synthesize innovation in marketing media with the client's business needs
- Create, analyse and distil data to create proposals that are quantitatively sound for client teams
- Able to build rapport with clients, manage client expectations and grow trust and respect
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to train and mentor other senior account staff on marketing best practices and innovation
- Manage time and workload effectively
