Head - Digital Marketing - Retail (12-15 yrs)
Job Description :
Purpose of Role:
a) Direct, drive and lead the Digital Marketing function to develop successful, long-term digital marketing strategies.
b) Establish and articulate a clear digital marketing vision for the organisation.
c) Ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels and provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong web presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership to develop and drive the objectives, strategy and execution of scalable digital marketing programs company-wide; that would meet ambitious revenue and profitability objectives. Partial accountability for P/L.
- Manage profitability (income, cost & productivity) of the Digital Channel
- Deliver the revenue and business development target
- Develop digital strategy and targeted multi-channel communication programs to successfully build profitable, long-term relationships with customers
- Demonstrates the ability to network to build long lasting vendor relationships
- Provides overall strategic direction and quality standards and is dedicated to the achievement of outstanding results with a long-term perspective
- Drive service quality, across the Digital Practice within the organisation
- Pro-actively manage expectations and quickly grasp problems, make tough decisions and implement swift action plans to ensure customer satisfaction
- Review existing programs and regularly follow through attends internal team meetings to be fully briefed
- Take the lead on issues and crisis management, media training, messaging workshops etc.
- Deliver operational excellence through adoption of best practices
- Translate strategic programs into reality
Education and Experience Mix:
a) Senior marketing professional with 12 -15 years- experience in retail or service organisation- should have domain knowledge and working experience in Digital Marketing
b) Ability to set up the Digital Marketing vertical and lead the team
c) MBA - Marketing
