Our client offers a subscription based service for kids that offers an inquiry and play-based program for early childhood learning at home for children. It is a startup founded by alumni from IIT, IIM and Georgia Tech that is backed by industry veterans and funded by top-tier venture capital firms. We design, develop and deliver activity kits to the homes of the subscribers every month on a subscription basis. The boxes contain all material and instructions for hands-on fun activities that children in the age group of 2-12 years can do with their parents.
As the Digital Marketing Head, we are looking for an individual with proven track record in creating multi-channel digital marketing strategies, high-quality brand positioning and executing global marketing campaigns.
The key responsibilities will be as follows:
- Conceptualizing, developing and executing the company's digital marketing strategy and leading the transformation to best-in-class in the digital area
- Transforming the digital marketing function into a major demand generation engine that drives results through innovation and data driven digital marketing channel strategies
- Maintaining the company's social media presence across all digital channels
- Working in conjunction with cross functional teams to plan and executing large-scale digital marketing campaigns
- Optimization and enhancement of the digital mediums from an ROI perspective
- Defining metrics to measure the performance of campaigns
- Measuring, analyzing and understanding digital marketing metrics to drive marketing decisions
- Analyzing the results and funnel to optimize campaign ROI and developing a strategy towards generating a positive return for the Company
- Accelerating the company's digital capabilities across Social Media, Search Campaigns, CRM, Content, Mobile, Digital Media, and Infrastructure
- Instrumenting conversion points and optimizing user funnels
- Identifying potential strategic partnership opportunities
- Working closely with functional experts and product management teams to design the digital content strategy with the objective of increasing brand reach, engagement with customers and prospects and overall business impact
- Keeping abreast of the new technologies and digital mediums for effective implementation
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience of 3 - 6 years in handling Digital Marketing Platforms
- Strong marketing sense with exposure in funnel management and data oriented Digital Marketing techniques is preferred
- Post-graduate from Tier I Institutes (IIT/IIM) preferred
- Have in depth understanding of digital marketing landscape to plan and execute strategies in affiliate marketing, search & display marketing, social media and others
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
