Head - Corporate Fundraising - NGO (7-26 yrs)
Position Title: Head of Corporate Fundraising
Division / Function: Individual Donor Acquisition & Team Management
Location: Bangalore
Department: Fundraising
Functional and Administrative Reporting to: Head of India
1. JOB PURPOSE
Coordinate, develop and manage in-house Corporate fundraising activity for Christle House India to increase income and maintain a solid base of donors for sustainable growth of Christle House India
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support Strategic Development
1. Develop a complete understanding of Christle House Indias overall fundraising strategies.
2. Advice upon and develop the in-house Corporate fundraising strategy for Christle House India, working closely with the Head of Organization, Christle House Indias Fundraising Team and other staff.
Implementation
- Implement the Christle House Indias in-house Corporate fundraising strategy with the aim of increasing income from Corporate fundraising channel.
Overseeing the work of in-house teams, including:
- Coaching and training Corporate Fundraisers for skills essential for Corporate fundraising
- Producing materials such as leaflets, Corporate scripts and training packs,
- Ensuring consistent messaging and representation of Christle House India in close collaboration with the communication team of Christle India.
- Participate in Corporate fundraising activities with the team (app. 75% of the position), this requires travel capacity in order to follow-up the activities.
- Investigate and develop best Corporate fundraising practices to enable Christle House India in India to lead and innovate within the Indian fundraising market and to maximize long-term responsible income
- Malls and companies: organizing permissions for malls and companies of interest for Corporate activity, establishment of contacts and cultivation of contacts
- Undertaking any other reasonable task that the Head of Fundraising sees fit for the smooth running of the team.
Monitoring and Reporting
1. Ensure timely, accurate and quality MIS reporting for in-house Corporate fundraising(on monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
2. Monitoring quality of representation by CORPORATE teams by listening to approach
3. Ensure that all fundraising activities comply with applicable (Indian) law at all times, including compliance with data protection legislation
Representation
1. Represent Christle House in Corporate meetings with corporate donors
2. Represent in-house Corporate team in internal meetings
Human Resource (with support from FR HRO)
1. Motivation, training and follow up of Corporate fundraising team.
2. Report on recruitment, training and monitoring the performance of Corporate fundraising officers(in-house)
3. Supervise and evaluate the in-house Corporate fundraising officers
3.KEY DIMENSIONS
Financial Dimensions
- Manage costs as per the approved annual plan for in-house Corporate fundraising
Other Dimensions
- Maintain a team of 3 corporate fundraisers
- Manage Corporate fundraising activities in Bengaluru and other satellite cities
4.Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve and exceed the financial/nonfinancial targets for in-house Corporate fundraising income as per annual plan

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
Graduate /MBA
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
- 7-8 years of experience in Corporate fundraising/ Corporate Executive Management or similar profile in marketing
- Experience in team development and team management
- Experience of managing large teams
