Head - Business Development - Solar Product (8-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Growth Strategy & Market Expansion : Formulate and execute growth strategies to boost market share and hit revenue goals.
2. Team Leadership & Direction : Oversee cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, engineering, and operations to ensure cohesive execution.
3. Project Management & Supervision : Direct solar project development from planning to construction, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
4. Sales Strategy & Outreach : Drive revenue growth by developing impactful marketing strategies and fostering strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
5. Financial Administration : Oversee budgeting, P&L, and financial planning to ensure profitability and sustainability.
6. Government Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, policymakers, and industry groups to advocate for solar energy.
7. Product Innovation & Technological Solutions : Stay ahead of industry advancements and implement cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
8. Risk Analysis : Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful solar project execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience :
- Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the solar, renewable energy, or power generation industry.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role, managing large sales teams and driving business growth, state and national level projects.
Skills:
- Proven track record in closing large deals and driving multi-million-dollar sales.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical products and explain them to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong knowledge of solar products, energy storage solutions, and industry regulations.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, BSC or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
