Head - Business Development - Global Design Firm (10-15 yrs)

Our client is a leading multinational architecture, design, planning and consulting firm. The company is spearheaded by a dynamic team that brings to the table vast entrepreneurial and architectural experience with them from reputed organizations.
As the Head - Business Development (West/North), you will be responsible for driving new client acquisition and conversion of new clients into strategic accounts. You will be part of the leadership team reporting to the India MD's.
You will be based in the Mumbai office and will be heading the regional sales efforts working closely with the team across West/North Region and will be pivotal in strengthening the company's market presence and achieving business targets.
The other responsibilities will be as follows :
- Devising and implementing the regional sales strategy and focussing on acquisition of new clients and managing business targets
- Representing the company in the market and building industry network and managing key stakeholder relationships
- Consulting with the MD's to create strategic business development programs to secure new business and converting new clients to strategic accounts
- Driving key business deals as needed along with the MD's and City heads of each region including sales strategy for closure and negotiating agreements with customers to ensure commerciality
- Working with the regional teams and building a robust sales pipeline and forecast new bookings efficiently to meet business targets
- Collaborating in developing the systems, materials, and resources necessary for business development, including proposals, presentations, and serving offerings to win work
- Ensuring the organization has an effective sales training programme to create top performers regularly and mentoring and motivating the sales team to ensure performance against KPIs
Candidate Profile :
- Graduate and PG Degree(MBA) with experience working in the corporate workplace industry selling " Design & Build" or Project Management services, or any other relevant product and services in the North/West Region
- Goal oriented business development professional with demonstrable record of 10 years in managing complex sales cycles with B2B selling process to multinational companies in India
- Achieved quota/annual targets of 100Cr. in the previous roles as an individual contributor and with a team
- Engaging personality with excellent communication and motivational skills
- Technologically Savvy at navigating complex organizations and connecting the right people within each organization
- Highly Networked with large to mid-sized corporates in India
- Flexible for moderate travel Pan India
