Head - Business Development - Auto Parts/Ancillary Business (8-12 yrs)
Position : Head of Business Development
Location : Pune
Academic Qualifications : ME / BE (Automobile /Mechanical)
Experience Profile 8-10 yrs experience.
Reporting to Managing Director
Responsibilities :
1. Acquiring New Customers to grow Indian business in domestic markets (Grow Market Share %, improve Margin %)
2. Responsible for Domestic Sales growth.
3. Responsible for AR, Improving Product margin, Reducing selling costs (control)
4. Recommending Product positioning, pricing strategies for different sectors.
5. Responsible for NPI - right from RFQ to Delivery.
6. Long term, yearly, quarterly, monthly business planning & forecasting.
7. Improving Customer satisfaction, Customer Relationship Management
8. Coordinate, set priorities for customers needs inside the orgn. With Supply Chain, Plant. (VOC)
9. Identification of New Business opportunities - By conducting Market scan, competition analysis, market intelligence & to propose tactics.
Competencies/ Capabilities Required :
1. Should have been in similar role in Auto component sales business in a growth oriented set up.
2. Well versed with M&HCV market/players, & construction equipment market/players & Agriculture segments.
3. Should be a engaging, positive communicator having strong interpersonal skills.
4. Technically competent Sales engineer having hands-on expertise of IC engines, engine fluid mgmt (cooling, lubrication systems etc.)
5. Should have expertise of application engineering
6. Good understanding of Emission / international standards
7. Knowledge / Awareness of TS, NPI, APQP will be an added advantage
8. Key contacts at CV players will be added advantage
9. Knowledge /Background in precision machining & assembly will be added advantage.
