Head - Advertisement & Marketing (8-15 yrs)
The position is responsible to head the advertisement & marketing department. The position is responsible to devise advertisement & marketing strategies for the organizations so that the organizations brand can be promoted on a regular basis. The position is responsible for implementing the finalized strategies in order to attract more customers. The role requires to create market awareness & promoting the brand which in turn will increase the sale. The position is responsible to devise various strategies to penetrate various geographical regions. The position is responsible to increase the brand value of the organization.
Area of Responsibility Key Activities/Elements
Budget :
- Responsible to create yearly budget of advertisement department which is in line with the business strategy
- Responsible to coordinate with the other departments while preparing the advertisement budget
- Responsible to take approval from the management
- Responsible to take reviews on a regular basis on target vs actual consumption of the budget
Planning and Estimation
- Plan a calendar for the upcoming year
- Responsible for designing marketing strategy of the organization in coordination with other departments considering the business strategy of the year
- Responsible for planning and conducting various events, activities regarding the organization within the region
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns
- Estimate monthly and annual budget for advertisement campaigns, events and exhibitions
- Plan advertising, including which media to advertise in, such as radio, television, print, banner, hoardings, pamphlets etc.
- Negotiate advertising contracts
- Analyze and compare last year's costing and expenses
Brand Promotion :
- Responsible for devising strategies to promote the organizations brand
- Responsible for implementing approved strategies so that more and more customer could be attracted
- Responsible for conducting various CSR related activities as one of the tool for promoting brand
- Responsible for promoting various CSR activities in order to create a positive image of the organization
Marketing :
- Responsible for finalizing the areas where different type of branding activities can be conducted
- Responsible for building and maintaining good terms with government personnel
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and to identify opportunities and key issues
- Responsible to conduct competitor analysis on a regular in order to understand organizations position in the market and gain a competitive advantage in the market
- Measure efficiency of campaigns in terms of target of campaign vs actual outcome of the campaign
- Every campaigns / events / advertising etc. should have a forecasting of the customers targeted and a detailed analysis of the actual customers converted
- Meet marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
Market Penetration :
- Responsible for devising market expansion strategies in terms of product, geographical presence
- Responsible for increasing reach with maximum number of customers
- Conduct a research on geographical expansion of the business
- Increase promotion of product and brand
- Develop market segments and potential markets
- Responsible for creating product demand
Advertisement and SMS Schedule :
- Finalize release order to agency
- Provide confirmation on all published papers received from vendors
- Get the SMS script done from agency and finalize it to release
- Finalized SMS communicate to IT department for further process
Radio Advertisement :
- Conduct survey for selecting Radio channel
- Finalize jingle and ensure it is implemented on time
- Get the quotation approved and make contract with the agency
- Ensure advertisement goes on air on time as per our schedule
- Check and keep tracks of advertisement
MIS Reports and Analysis :
- Present marketing campaign analysis to management
- Prepare budget vs. actual expenses report
