HCL - Offshore Account Manager - IT/Digital Services (6-9 yrs)
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of experience as Enterprise Account Manager; preferably for LSH, Minimum 6 years of IT/Digital Service professional experience.
Education:
- Bachelor in Technology, Computer Science or Engineering - IIT/DTU.
- Master or Post Graduate education in Management / Business is highly preferred - IIM.
Skills:
- Account Management, Account Planning and Technology Sales in large Global Enterprises.
- Strong client expectation management and advisory skills in complex client organizations.
- Client engagements across Service lines/Business Groups to build opportunity pipeline.
- Accountability for farming - both up-sell and cross-sell.
- Lead proposal development, negotiation and commercial terms for large deals.
- Negotiation and client management skills.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills in English
- Open to pick-up new cultural values and new way of doing business
Subject knowledge and experience:
- Understanding of Digital Transformation in the LSH industry required
- Experience with selling Modern Apps development (API, Microservices, Containerization), Azure Cloud, Big Data and Analytics, Cloud App Ops, IOT, Dev Ops
- Good knowledge of ITIL processes. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as waterfall, agile.
- Understanding of latest industry solutions and trends & challenges of CIO/CDO
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountability of Profit & Loss and revenue pipeline
- Build an Account Business Plan along a predefined method but with additional own ideas
- Responsible for driving profitable growth by developing strategic relationships with the customers
- Build relationship with Pre-Sales, CoE & Delivery to create a collaborative working relationship in the account.
- Networks with various HCL Service lines to ensure a high Win percentage
- Building and follow up of opportunities throughout the sales-cycle until closure and contracting
- Working with the Marketing team to define and execute Account level Marketing Plan
