Responsibilities

Pre-Purchase Counselling :

- Utilize your background in genetic/medical counselling to provide comprehensive pre-purchase counselling to prospective customers, including doctors and healthcare professionals.

- Assess the needs and requirements of clients, offering tailored solutions based on their specific circumstances and challenges.

- Educate clients on the benefits and advantages of our products, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

- Assist clients in making informed decisions by presenting scientific data and evidence supporting the effectiveness of our products.

Relationship Building:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, and other healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics.

- Collaborate with medical professionals to understand their preferences, requirements, and patient demographics, tailoring your sales approach accordingly.

- Regularly communicate and follow up with healthcare professionals to provide ongoing support, address any issues, and nurture long-term partnerships.

Product Promotion :

- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for doctors and healthcare staff to showcase the features and benefits of our genetic products.

- Effectively articulate the value proposition of our products, highlighting their unique selling points and differentiators.

- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in genetic counselling and related fields to effectively communicate the cutting-edge nature of our products.

- Network with professionals, promote our products, and identify new business opportunities.

Sales Performance :

- Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively driving sales through the adoption of our products by doctors and healthcare professionals.

- Regularly analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop strategies, promotional materials, and sales tools that align with the needs of doctors and healthcare professionals.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM systems.

Requirement

- MSc/or PhD in Biomedical Genetics, Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc (relevant science branches)

- Board-certified genetic counsellor Level 2 preferred ( level 1 acceptable)

-1-2 year of experience in Genetic Counselling, pre-post-test for reproductive disorders, Rare Disorders, Oncology, and Personal Genomics

- Proven experience as a sales representative or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the healthcare industry.

- Strong understanding of genetic counselling principles and practices, enabling you to provide pre-purchase counselling effectively.

- Conversant with all molecular assays (working knowledge)

- Conversant with psychosocial aspects of counselling

- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
