Sales Manager
- A leading global exhibition organiser is urgently recruiting for a Sales Manager to work on a market leading portfolio of exhibitions related to industrial sector.
- You will be responsible for selling exhibition space and sponsorship for your own assigned targets/territory/sectors. There will be a significant amount of face-to face sales meetings with the prospects.
- You will be an experienced sales person who has strong account management skills, preferably in the exhibitions sector, as well as excellent new business development ability. This position will be based in Mumbai and on contractual basis ( open-ended) for one-year, subject to renewal depending on satisfactory performance.
Specific responsibilities will include :
- Bringing in new business by sourcing own leads, and developing existing accounts with up-selling through telesales and face to face selling
- Selling against agreed targets
- Working closely with other departments, mainly Marketing,
- Operations and Accounts to ensure the smooth running of the show
- Providing excellent customer service and after sales care
- Accurately maintaining the sales database Sales administration
- To be able to sell internationally and be capable of selling to mixed cultures
- Maintaining strong customer relationships
- Providing weekly pipelines to your reporting line
- Identifying and liaising with key industry associations
Qualification : MBA / Post graduate
