At Hachimichi, we believe that unlike an Alexa speaker or Tesla car, or even an Apple Watch, your toilet is unavoidable and poses a never ending business opportunity. Then how about implementing a technology that can transform our existing toilets into more meaningful places?

We aim to bring technology to your washrooms and make them hygienic, comfortable, and resourceful. We believe that with the right technology we can change the way we experience toilets. We believe if not by today, then at least by 2030 toilets are going to be different. And if it is for India's context, then we decided to start with a problem most of us complain about i.e. unhygienic common toilets.

Our today is B2B and our tomorrow is B2C. The target market is humongous and we are poised for an exponential growth.

For us toilet is just a space where technology can do wonders. Our products are combination of hardware, software and the fashionable IoT and AI. Our patents prove that we can develop something from scratch. Being not a pure software play, we are far different from a typical start-up in India. Currently we are a team of 5 members and you would join us as a core team member. You can expect to work on interesting problems that defies conventional wisdom. With initial positive response, Hachimichi is looking to expand market presence in Pune.

Macro-level job :

- Understand the Pune B2B market and expand our presence.

- Work with other teams. Create marketing and sales strategies and implement them.

- Set up operational and service level model of the business.

Micro-level job :

- Identify, approach, and convert potential B2B customers (with focus on corporate offices, restaurants and healthcare facilities.)

- Maintain a healthy customer pipeline and do everything that is needed in 1st approach, follow-ups, negotiations, conversion, installations, and after-sales.

- Build a team for sales, operations, and after sales service as our presence grows.

- Build a supplementary chain of supply.

- Work with Marketing Team to implement campaigns, research activities and creating communication channels between customer and the Company

- We are looking for a mindset that can get things done with following qualities :

- You are acquainted with B2B market in Pune and have a wide-n-deep network in at least one of the target customer segment. With this, you are capable of readily converting well-known brands.

- Good convincing skills. You take pleasure in selling. Not afraid to get your hands dirty.

- You understand what makes a customer tick and can mould your strategies accordingly.

- Can talk openly about toilets and hygiene without shying away from "gross" topics.

- Ability to approach CXO as well as staff-level people.

- Not afraid to fail, but capable of quickly learning from mistakes and reworking on strategies.

- Ambitious and interested to become a core team member. Business ticks you and you are keen on moulding Hachimichi's future.

Compensation :

We are at early stage. So expect a lot of noise, but also a lot of freedom, opportunities, and an unparalleled growth. Compensation will be skewed towards performance based variable. Working hours are flexible.
