Job Overview - The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing sales data, handling customer escalations, and coordinating with various departments to resolve issues. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
Sales Data Management :
- Maintain and update sales records and databases.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights.
Customer Escalation Handling: Serve as the primary point of contact for handling customer complaints and escalations. Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve recurring issues.
Departmental Coordination :
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to address and resolve customer and sales-related issues.
- Ensure seamless communication between departments to facilitate efficient problem-solving. Assist in the implementation of new processes or systems to improve sales operations and customer service.
Sales Support :
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of sales orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Support the sales team in organizing and executing sales events and promotions.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to sales processes and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for sales operations and customer interactions.
What you will need -
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize sales data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
