Job Overview-
The Sales Manager at Gxpresss Ltd. will be responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets, expanding market share, and fostering strong relationships with key clients. You will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key accounts, and drive new business opportunities to support the company's growth objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals and expand market presence. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Act as a primary point of contact for major accounts and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new client acquisition and market expansion. Develop proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking sales metrics, forecasting, and preparing reports for senior management. Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with overall business objectives.
What You Will Need :
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the logistics and supply chain sector.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key client accounts.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Skills : Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Experience : Proven experience in sales management within the logistics or supply chain industry. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships.
- Knowledge : Understanding of logistics and supply chain management processes, market dynamics, and industry trends. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Good to Have :
Specialized Knowledge & Skills : Experience with sales analytics and reporting tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
