Job Summary:

- Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales performance of the General trade, Modern Trade, HORECA and alternate Trade Channels for Karnataka state. He/she should be target driven and result oriented in delivering the overall regional sales objectives.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive sales experience and network across General and Modern Trade, Multi-Channel Distribution agencies, HORECA and Corporate channels. The incumbent should have solid and proven track record of beating the internal targets and external markets by constantly innovating through novel sales strategies and aggressive sales plans.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Establishing the channel sales for the assigned region.

2. Creating tie ups with Distributors, MTs and Institutional buyers.

3. Identifying and getting multi-channel retail and distribution agencies/companies/enterprises on-board. Overall responsibility from identifying, negotiating, order processing to realization of payments and follow through.

4. Identify and analyse market trends, pricing and competitors activities.

5. Maintaining Sales performance.

6. Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy.

7. The incumbent should have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.

8. Draw efficient market strategies as per business goals and build relations with business partners.

9. Delivering annual business plan, volume, profitability through Retail customers

10. Achieve Primary & Secondary Sales Volume & Revenue Target

11. Ensure sales KPIs are tracked, measured and reported.

Qualifications: 

1. Min. 4-5 years of solid and proven track record of beating sales targets

2. Proven Sales experience across multiple channels including General Trade, Modern Trade, HORECA and Corporate Sales

3. Extensive distribution network

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5. Desired Skills and Experience

7. Strong analytical capabilities and high comfort level running CRM reports and analyses

8. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and departments
