An SDR (Sales Development Representative) working in a marketing operations (Markops) agency typically requires a solid understanding of marketing and sales principles, as well as proficiency in various marketing automation tools and processes.
Role Overview:
At Growtomation, we are on a mission to provide comprehensive and easily executable go-to-market strategies to US, UK, and Europe-based SaaS companies reducing their time to market and revenue cycles. We are already doing so through HubSpot, Salesforce, and content marketing, and moving at a fast pace toward other tech stacks and capabilities.
We work with HubSpot and Salesforce customers to help them make the most out of their instances by streamlining marketing, sales, services, CS processes & reporting. We own the system so that you get to think about what your business needs next.
Now, as a Salesforce/Marketo/Pardot SDR, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by generating high-quality leads and facilitating effective lead handoff to the sales team. You will leverage your expertise in marketing automation platforms to execute successful campaigns, nurture prospects, and optimise lead conversion rates. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the success of our clients' marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Utilise Sales and Marketing operation tools to execute lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, lead scoring, and automation workflows.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through targeted prospecting and research using a variety of tools and techniques.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to align messaging, optimise campaigns, and ensure a seamless lead handoff process.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads, tracking and documenting all activities and interactions in the CRM system.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement, to engage with potential customers.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our clients' products/services to prospects and generate interest in further discussions.
- Respond to inbound leads promptly, qualify their needs, and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team.
- Continuously monitor and analyse campaign performance, lead conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and the latest features and updates in Salesforce, Marketo, and Pardot.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide feedback and insights for optimising lead quality and sales effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SDR or in a similar role, preferably within a MarkOps agency or a technology-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Pardot.
- Strong understanding of marketing and sales principles, lead generation, and lead qualification processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with prospects and build rapport.
- Proficiency in outbound prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, analyse, and report on campaign performance metrics and KPIs.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Salesforce, Marketo, or Pardot certifications would be a plus.
