- For other businesses, search engine optimization (SEO) - optimizing webpages and content to rank higher on search engines such as Google, is one of the key drivers of traffic to websites.


- How your website ranks on Google is one of the most important factors for the success or failure of online portals and online businesses.

- The role is for SEO specialists or those who want to build a career in this high demand skill-set.

Responsibilities:

Client/Project Management:

- Lead and ensure revenue realization for the SEO vertical of Growisto.

- Understand business models of clients to create a monthly/yearly digital marketing roadmap for them

- Use project management tools to manage multiple projects efficiently

- Track and drive the progress of various projects to ensure timely delivery

- Get involved in account management and business development as a subject matter expert.

- Be up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and internal product/ services development efforts

- Develop solutions that address clients business and goal, while establishing a thorough understanding of clients business, brand, customers and competitive landscape to provide strategic guidance

- Establish and maintain client relationships including client communication, report delivery, project management, and strategy development

- Track and drive the progress of various projects to ensure timely delivery

- Performing risk management to minimize project risks using A/B testing

- Assembling and leading project team.

- Expertise in core SEO on-page, technical and off-page activities.

- Ensuring resource availability and allocation

- Developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

Building Team:

- Lead a team of 15-20 people

- Oversee and manage several client accounts

- Work with leadership to develop strategic plans for growth of the SEO business unit

- Get involved in team building by actively participating in hiring, training, people and career management of team members

Leadership

- Leading from the front by solving challenges in various areas such as projects, clients, training, hiring, people

- Training the team and being responsible for team growth and planning personal development programs of team members.

- Work with leadership on creating a growth plan for the team.

- Develop and lead new service offerings

Qualification requirements & preferences -

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is mandatory.

- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in client management/project management/team handling

- Have strong team management skills with the ability to lead a team of 15-20 individuals.

- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment.

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.

- Strong project management skills including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience presenting to external stakeholders at senior levels

- On-page SEO experience (content strategy, topical authority building, content gap analysis, featured snippet analysis, and regular optimization)

- Off-page SEO experience (guest posting, HARO, digital PR and more)

- Tech SEO experience (core web vitals, rendering, coverage issue resolution, handling URL parameters, schema, page speed optimization)
