Graphic Designer (2-3 yrs)
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with the team for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, videos and marketing materials
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design and video within an established brand identity
- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Conceptualize visuals and video theme based on requirements
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic or video according to brand identity
- Work with copywriters and creative team to produce final design or video
- Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system
- Ability to convey correct messages through videos and images
- Should be able to assemble raw footage or images and compose videos from it
- Should be able to create and follow the script, screenplay or outline
- Editing and creating videos (posts, clips, reels, long format) for promotions across various platforms
- Skills to input graphics and music to enhance footage. Improve colour and lighting.
- Test graphics and videos across various media
- Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications
- Amend designs after feedback
- Create web banners, coupons and other promotional variables
- Coordinate with the team members to identify photography needs. Assign projects to photographers if needed and keep track of the deadlines. Review photos, edit and make necessary changes. Decide which images to publish.
- Understanding of video production nuances and ability to work closely with motion graphics and production team will be highly desirable.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and as per brand guidelines
- Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
- Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video
