The Job

You will be responsible for :

- Conceptualising and developing design concepts, graphics and layouts.

- Designing and producing collateral in accordance with brand guidelines.

- Liaising with suppliers and service providers to ensure proofs are of good quality and in line with production specifications.

- Taking a "design brief" to understand requirements.

- Presenting ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders.

- Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.

Ideal Candidate

Position: Graphics Designer (full-time)

Location: Mehta Publishing House, Bajirao road, Pune

Education: Any graduate/ diploma holder.

Experience: Fresher OR at least 3 years to 5 years as graphic designer in publishing industry.

Salary offered: As per industry standardTechnical skills required:

Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw

Basic Marathi typing skills

- Experience and knowledge of books page layout. Willingness to learn is a must.

- Candidates knowing Marathi fluently required as we publish Marathi books.

Graphics Designer Profile:

- Pre-press knowledge is an added advantage

- Working will be in Coreldraw only, for book covers and layouts.

- Must be fluent in reading and writing Marathi

- Interested in learning about book publishing process
