Grainger - Sales Professional (4-8 yrs)
- Develop and grow Cromwell Tools in a profitable way, by making it easy and pleasant for our customers and suppliers to do business with us.
- Manage the business given to Cromwell by its customers ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promote the products and services of Cromwell to customers to maximize sales opportunities and increase profitability - create and generate the level of sales necessary to achieve your agreed sales objectives and targets.
- Significantly contribute towards the profitable growth of the Company by increasing sales and servicing customer needs using the most time and cost-effective methods.
- Develop business with existing customers, but continuously identify new customers / opportunities that will add quality business to our operation. Maximise the sales potential of the branch through a total commitment to customer service and care.
- Agree annual sales objectives and targets with the Sales Manager and monitor your performance in relation to them on a month-to-month basis, taking action as required to ensure that you sales target is achieved.
- Ensure adequate planning and time management is in place on customer visits and developing relationships and generating sales most of the time. A minimum of 1 - 2 large size customer calls plus 5 6 medium size customer calls must be achieved every day.
- Operate an effective call plan and accurately record all the necessary information / follow up on the customers record cards and in your company diary. Follow up on quotes done by you or on your behalf by the Internal Sales team.
- Try to convert maximum business as possible to own or exclusive brand products, and to support these brands when questioned about the quality ensuring the tools have been used for the correct application.
