Social Media Executive
- As a social media specialist, your duties will be to make social media calendar and work closely with the creative team to develop high quality content for our social media platforms.
- You are required to have an excellent command over the English language and have the ability to write creative content for various social channels. A strong understanding of Social platforms and best practices is a must.
- You need a minimum of 6 months experience as a social executive for this role.
Skill requirements:
1. Responsibility for hands on interaction within social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, linkedin etc.
2. Ability to generate, edit, publish and write amazing and engaging copy in a real-time environment that can stimulate user interaction, discussion and engagement
3. Use of a toolkit to measure and monitor social activity- determine what works, tweak and improve content, communications etc
4. Work closely with graphic designers and editors to deliver creative and fresh content ideas for social properties
5. You have impeccable writing & social media stalking skills.
6. You are insanely creative; to the extent that you have the ability to turn around a negative customer feedback into a positive story for the brand.
7. You need to know what is happening in the fast-changing world of social and digital media, what competitors are doing and what new measurement tools are being used.
8. Social media managers work almost exclusively through admin interfaces and social tools. Understanding of these tools, SEO, internet access and being tech-oriented is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or MA in Journalism or Mass Communication
