Category Manager
Role & Responsibilities :
1. Analyze data and give insights to determine industry and consumer trends regarding the product and category
2. Grow the business of the existing clients on Flipkart / Amazon accounts in terms of sales and other horizons
3. Manage and drive the growth of the seller's business
4. Build and execute on an account plan that delivers on key business opportunities for the sellers
5. Strategize positioning of a product category in order to maximize its visibility
6. Build and drive relationships with key vendors to improve pricing and quality of services
7. Collaborate with the marketing team
8. Create forecasts for product demand to ensure sustainability of inventory
9. Analyze and provide routine reporting on the seller's current business and future opportunities.
Job Requirements :
1. Proven experience as category manager or similar role
2. Strong exposure of category management, marketing and sales principles
3. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
4. Proficient in MS Office
5. Excellent Interpersonal skills and vendor management
6. Must have a analytical bend and strategic ability
