Position : Field Sales Officer
Salary Range : 15,000 - 30,000
Job Summary : As a Field Sales officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of field sales representatives to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Your role will involve providing guidance, training, and support to your team members, while also collaborating with other departments to ensure effective execution of sales strategies. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the team's performance, fostering a positive work environment, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Team Leadership :
Experience: 2 to 7 years
- Supervise and guide a team of field sales representatives, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, share updates, and provide performance feedback.
- Motivate and inspire team members to consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas.
Sales Management :
- Monitor individual and team performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide necessary coaching to enhance productivity.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Training and Development :
- Provide initial and ongoing training to new and existing team members to improve their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer interaction skills.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Insights :
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Reporting and Documentation :
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for presentation to senior management.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant information.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business strategies.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and contribute to the development of new sales initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of 2 to 7 years in field sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and willingness to travel as required.
