Business Head -Key Responsibilities Areas:

Sales and Business Development:

- Plan, Strategize and govern the Sales and Business Development for allocated region.

- Develop the prospective business opportunity in the region and strategize the acquisition.

- Business Governance

- Review and manage the business performances of each site in the region ensuring 100% client satisfaction and retention, ensuring timely revision of client contracts.

- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly business reports, MMR presentations with key stakeholders at client and internal management.

- Plan and meet KRA and SLA targets, govern the direct Reports, Client

- Compass Team, Supplier staff for smooth operations.

- Support and lead the regional Food promotions plan that improves the client and end user experience.

- Weekly, Monthly summary of incident reports and status of all action items where abnormal incidents have resulted in downtime or impacted threatened Client Management or facilities availability

- Plan and develop SOP's that build strong operational efficiency in the region.

Finance Management :

- Own the PNL of the respective region with monthly reporting of each site and regional PNL to the key stakeholders

- Actively work to ensure that the site's & branch financial operations are meeting or exceeding targets and control requirements

- Own the debtors management and maintain the invoice collection tracker ensuring no outstanding to be a bad debt.

- Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly and year to date operational reporting documents that summarizes the operational and financial performance results.

People Management:

- Manage, coach, develop and sustain a quality motivated team. Ensure high staff morale, trust and work ethics build and maintain an environment that supports teamwork

- Identifying training needs and development plans for direct reports.

- Proactive and selective resource hiring in line with HR policy.

Client Stakeholder Management : 

- Client Stakeholder Management - Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client's expectations are met.

- Build and develop effective client stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organization.

- On site key point of contact for Facilities in the client's premises.

- Effective management of escalations and closure through Action plan- oriented approach.

- Manage the contracts as per defined scope in MSA.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

- Ensure vendors are well managed, delivering services on time and within budget Ensure that vendor procurement processes comply with agreed client procurement guidelines as well as Plan and manage all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs.

- Ensure timely renewal of supplier contracts are well.

- Develop sustainable business solutions in line with region's client needs and expectations

- Develop the BCP plan for each operating site.

Qualifications/ Experience :

- Sound knowledge and experience of working with food services, technology and leveraging people.

- Results Oriented, be accountable and hold accountable.

- Proven experience in managing successful teams in a similar environment.

- Strong knowledge of Industry best practices in Food Hygiene processes.

- Excellent financial and application acumen.

- Self-motivated, agile and ability to adapt to a changing environment.

- Overall 10 +years- experience with minimum 3 years in a similar role.

- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management discipline.
