Gobasco - Regional Manager - Sales (2-10 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
1. Generating and managing the demand(s) from the given region
2. Pitching and on-boarding new partners/associates for business development in nearby Mandis (vegetables and fruits markets)
3. Managing the documentation (custom's paperwork), payments, transactions, bills and invoices in a particular region and Quality check
4. Manage, hire, train and develop the team of 5-6 sales executives in nearby districts of your cluster
5. Innovate and implement new strategies for increasing demand and getting new partners on-board
6. Based on data collected and ground reports, proliferating in new areas and increase market share and volume
7. Relationship management to ensure timely payments and repetition in orders with existing and newly added partners
8. Traveling new cities/areas for market development based on leads, and gathering information about the processes, suppliers, agents etc. and strategizing on the same
9. Consignment tracking, distribution and coordination with central office team
Qualities/Skills that we- re looking for :
- Prior work experience of about 2 years in sales or operations, preferably rural areas for an understanding of ground level dealing
- Good at negotiations and conversations, with strictly no inhibitions in meeting new people
- No inhibition in travelling new cities/areas for market development based on leads and willing to stay in rural/remote territories (Agri background is a bonus)
- Dedicated and Focused at work without any distractions
- Familiar with all the local cultures, and nearby districts' markets
